Meteorites at Gallery Arroyo Grande in California

Dion Art is excited to feature our project, "Meteorites," a kinetic installation commissioned for the Gallery Arroyo Grande in California. This installation has quickly become a highlight of this stunning art gallery, which showcases the works of talented contemporary artists.
"Meteorites" consists of uniquely crafted units made of artistic glass, designed to resemble small meteorites that enhance the gallery's atmosphere during the day and at night. After developing seven different concepts, we chose this particular design to add a touch of extravagance to the gallery space.

The installation includes three programmed scenarios to animate the meteorites throughout the day. The first mode is a 14-minute show where the blocks are in constant motion, changing shapes and speeds with various lighting effects. The second mode is a daytime program that activates for a few minutes every 30 minutes to rejuvenate the installation, while every 10 minutes, a new formation is created using dynamic lighting over a span of six hours. The third mode is an evening program that mixes motion and static elements, focusing on lighting effects for 90 minutes.

The installation is not just about illuminating the space but about creating a point of attraction that draws visitors and clients into the gallery. It is equipped with 64 artistic glass lights, 64 LED fixtures, 64 specialized kinetic winches, and a control cabinet, making "Meteorites" a sophisticated and captivating kinetic art installation that enhances the dynamic and interactive experience of art in public spaces.
